Other factories had already released Turquoise dial versions before, but honestly, very few of them really satisfied me. This time, VS came in later but did it better. First, let’s talk about the case. The yellow gold tone of the new Daytona has now been upgraded. This lighter gold tone is much closer to the genuine watch. The same upgrade has also been applied to the other yellow gold Daytona models. In the past, the gold color on VS Daytona was slightly yellowish. After this color upgrade, there is basically no obvious color difference anymore, and the tone is much more accurate. Other gold models from VS are also expected to receive this upgraded case color gradually.

Now, this lighter gold tone has almost no obvious color difference. Under sunlight, it looks warm and elegant, not overly bright or cheap-looking. It is said that VS will gradually upgrade its other gold models to this same color, which is definitely good news for collectors who care about accuracy.

The biggest selling point of this watch is, of course, the Turquoise dial. VS uses a matte blue finish, and the color is very well adjusted. Compared with the genuine watch, there is almost no obvious color difference.

The CD-pattern radial texture on the three sub-dials is also very finely finished. When the dial catches light from different angles, you can see subtle changes in reflection. It is not a flat or lifeless solid color.

The central pinion of the hands is solid, not hollow. This is a detail that many smaller factories often ignore or cut corners on. The dial printing is also very clear, with no blurry edges or ink overflow.

The red DAYTONA lettering is full and clean, with the correct color tone, and it does not look like it will fade easily. The hour markers have a strong three-dimensional look, with cleanly cut edges and no rough burrs. Overall, from the front, there are almost no obvious flaws.

For the movement, VS uses the Dandong 4131 movement. To be honest, in the field of replica Daytonas, the 4131 is currently the top-level configuration. VS has always insisted on using Dandong movements, and this is definitely one of its strong points.

The operation is very simple. Turn the crown upward to wind the watch. Pull the crown out one position to adjust the time. Turning it forward moves the hands forward, and turning it backward moves the hands backward.

The total weight of the watch is around 136 to 137 grams, while the genuine version weighs over 150 grams. Although VS has added a weighted plate and the watch already feels more substantial on the wrist, there is still a weight difference compared with the genuine model. This can be considered a small drawback for now, but for daily wearing, it does not have a major impact.

The most worth mentioning upgrade is the new clasp. On the older Oysterflex golden Daytona models, the clasp was fixed and could not be adjusted. But on this newly released Turquoise version, VS has added a quick sliding adjustment system. It can slide and adjust by around 2 to 3 centimeters.

My opinion, in terms of clasp feel, finishing, and overall details, VS has done a very good job on this watch.
